Our product design process is focused on the customer – those who will be using the software daily. We take a deep dive into their needs, attitudes, and preferences. By building empathy, we can see problems from the end-user's perspective, enabling us to build software products that create real value for our clients and their customers.

NATO ISMERLO

NATO's International Submarine Escape and Rescue Liaison Office (ISMERLO) plays a critical role in coordinating global submarine search and rescue operations. The organization's mission is to prevent peacetime submarine accidents and respond swiftly on an international scale when emergencies occur. However, their existing legacy system, which had served the international community for years, was becoming outdated and in need of a comprehensive update to continue supporting these vital operations effectively.

This system is not simple at all. There is a lot of highly technical detailed information in there, but they have done extremely well; they've delivered every single one of the requirements.

UNICEF HOPE

UNICEF aimed to transform the way families in crisis received humanitarian aid - especially cash transfers. Cash transfers are one of the most efficient forms of aid, providing immediate relief while empowering families to make decisions based on their individual needs. The organization faced significant challenges in managing these processes effectively. To address this, UNICEF envisioned a powerful digital platform - Humanitarian Cash Operations and Programme Ecosystem (HOPE) - that would not only improve the efficiency of cash transfers but also guarantee data security and flawless operations. Their primary goal was to create a centralized, user-friendly system to integrate with complex back-end processes and deliver aid quickly and transparently.

Get your project going in just 5 steps

  1. Is it a match?

    Discovery Workshop

We start our product design by thoroughly understanding your specific needs and challenges. In a kickoff workshop, we collect key insights about your current situation, challenges, and future goals. This info is then boiled down to a clear grasp of the problem we're addressing.

    • We'll assess your business to pinpoint key areas for improvement and growth.

    • We'll identify key challenges and align on how our product can meet them.

    • We’ll establish a clear vision, making sure our product fits your long-term goals.

  2. What's the plan?

    Design and Specification

At the beginning of a project, our team concentrates on building a strong base for development. This includes outlining the project's scope, goals, and main deliverables.

During this initial planning stage, several key things happen:

    • Designers will create wireframes and mockups to visualize the user experience.

    • The PM and Technical Architect will document functional and technical requirements.

    • Developers can join later phases with a clear understanding of the solution details.

  3. Are we ready to build?

    Software Development & Testing

The project is now moving into its development phase, having laid the groundwork. This stage is where the initial plans and specifications are brought to life.

Developers will explore the current documentation, clear up any uncertainties, and start creating the software's features.

    • We’ll start working in 3-week sprints and hold regular demos to show our progress.

    • You'll have full access to project management tools.

    • We’ll conduct rigorous testing to make sure quality and functionality meet the requirements.

  4. Is everything set for launch?

    Beta Release

At this point in the project, everyone should have a sense of confidence regarding what has been completed, and all parties should be able to focus on moving the application into its final phase.

    • We’ll conduct user testing in the Staging environment to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

    • Now, we’ll review user feedback and pinpoint any needed changes to the project.

  5. Ready for future challenges?

    Launch and Support

After launch, we offer ongoing support, including uptime maintenance, performance monitoring, and infrastructure adjustments as your application scales.

    • You’ll get continuous goal-oriented development or maintenance.

    • You can use our expertise to make informed decisions regarding future product development.
